Jerry Laird Simmons, Neotrope team member, and father of company founder Christopher Simmons, passed away today. He is survived by his wife Nola, sons Christopher and David, and brother Robert. Jerry was instrumental in the launch of the Mindset/Neotrope company, both by inspiration and financial means. In his later years Jerry was a valued participant in the launch, growth, and ultimate success of the Send2Press.com business, as an advisor and writer/editor; working both with Christopher on content issues, and directly with Send2Press clients.
